I have a Emachine T2042. I am limited to only pci slots. I have added a 256mb ati video card. That's good for some games, but not for the best. I was thinking about putting, at least, another 128mb. Is this possible. I have a Imperial 1.04 board. Thanks for the patients. Andy|||you can install more than one card but not for the reason you want the only benifit you can get from installing two cards is connecting mutiple monitors. unless you get a newer board that has 2 pci E and supports sli you can get two of the exact same cards capible of sli and that will increase your preformance|||Nope.
New and expensive motherboards let you run dual cards, but they are PCI-E. The cards have to be the same, and compatible to do this.
On your computer, no.|||You can't combine two graphic cards together. You would only see benefit from the one which you used to transmit an output. If you need more VRAM then just buy a new card with more than 256mb in.|||no you can only use one
