Has anyone had problems getting an ATI radeon x1600 pci-e video card to work with windows Vista?

I have installed vista, and it works during the installation with my Radeon x1600 Pro video card, but once the system boots up, it just gives me a black screen... I can get into windows safe mode with that card, but cannot install drivers. Help?|||Yes I had this problem and what i did was i eventually went back to Windows XP and installed it. Then it worked fine. After that i then went back to Vista and it worked fine. But one thing i didn't try was looking for a patch on Windows website. I'm sure they have one only becuase alot of programs and Hardware doen't work with Vista currently.
