Will the ATI RADEON 9250 256MB PCI Video Card work on a Amd Duron 700?

My system:

Windows 98 SE

Amd Duron 700

256MB Ram

ATI 3D Rage Pro 8MB

20gb|||It doesn't matter what the CPU is, what matters is does the motherboard have an empty PCI slot, and are there video drivers for the card in your OS.

The answers would be, I don't know, and yes.

Your old card appears to be AGP based. Your new card would not go in that slot. It would probably go in a slot next to it that would be different size.

If you can find an AGP card, it would be better than the PCI card.

Do NOT buy a PCI express card, I doubt your motherboard has support for those cards.

Check your motherboards website to make sure what card will fit in it.|||Probably not - the Duron is an older CPU, which suggests you have AGP graphics interface on your motherboard. You need a PCIe x16 grapics slot on your motherboard to run the 9250.
